North Carolina Sea Grant offered this fellowship to graduate students interested in pursuing North Carolina maritime heritage projects that use archeological, anthropological, sociological, historical or other disciplinary approaches approved by the Proposal Selection Committee. Project duration was for one term, and the fellow would receive a stipend.
