In a small sauce, melt \u00bc cup of butter over medium heat. Add garlic and cook until soft. Remove from heat. Brush garlic butter on one side of each bread slice. Place, garlic side up, in a shallow baking pan. Cook at 350\u00b0 F for about 2 to 3 minutes. Turn bread over and repeat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
While bread is toasting, melt \u00bc cup of butter in a large skillet. Add oysters and cook at 375\u00b0 F until done about 2 to 3 minutes. Turn and repeat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Use a slotted spoon to lift oysters out of the skillet and place them on toast. Sprinkle with cheese. Place under broiler until cheese is melted, about 5 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
