\nInvolved in maritime law, mariner assistance, and search and rescue, among other duties of coast guards elsewhere.<\/p>\n
\nProvides leadership on food, agriculture, natural resources, and related issues based on sound public policy, the best available science, and efficient management.<\/p>\n
\nLeads the nation’s environmental science, research, education and assessment efforts.<\/p>\n
\nPrincipal federal agency for conserving, protecting and enhancing fish, wildlife, plants and their habitats for the continuing benefit of the American people.<\/p>\n
