In time for you to take advantage of our holiday specials, North Carolina Sea Grant has launched its online bookstore at ncseagrant.ncsu.edu/bookstore.

We are offering specials on books and Coastwatch magazine this season through Jan. 8, 2016.

North Carolina’s Amazing Coast: Natural Wonders from Alligators to Zoeas emerged from a partnership between North Carolina and Georgia Sea Grant programs. Read about the margined sea star, the bottlenose dolphin and the red wolf, along with many other fantastic creatures.

This book will be a great gift for anyone who lives near — or loves — the coast. It is a great resource for teachers as well.

Mariner’s Menu: 30 Years of Fresh Seafood Ideas, is perfect for any cook, cookbook collector or seafood enthusiast.

Our award-winning magazine is for anyone who would love to visit the North Carolina coast throughout the year. It features in-depth stories on coastal science, history, culture and natural resources.
