<\/a>\n  <\/div>\n<\/aside>\n\n\n\n<p>The NC STEM Policy Post-Graduate Fellowships provide graduate students from North Carolina colleges and universities with opportunities to serve full-time (40 hours per week) for a year in high-level state government offices, focusing on policy topics related to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sea Grant continues to partner with the Burroughs Wellcome Fund and host offices to provide funding for the NC STEM Policy Post-Graduate Fellowship program. Possible placement offices include the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>NC Biotechnology Center<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>NC Department of Environmental Quality, State Energy Office (SEO)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>NC Department of Commerce, Office of Science, Technology &amp; Innovation (OSTI)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>NC Department of Natural and Cultural Resources (DNCR)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Albemarle-Pamlico National Estuary Partnership (APNEP)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li> NC Department of Transportation, Chief Operating Office (NCDOT)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Information about each office is available on the full\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1LD-gSZITrPkUu_YGDJf4FoUeqoUD4Aey\/view?usp=sharing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Request for Applications<\/a> (RFP)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each fellowship includes a competitive stipend&nbsp;<strong>totaling $52,500 for the year.<\/strong>&nbsp;In addition, $2,000 in travel support is provided for professional development and networking opportunities for fellows.
