The Albemarle-Pamlico National Estuary Partnership<\/a> and North Carolina Sea Grant<\/a> are accepting applications for the 2019 Graduate Fellowship in Estuarine Research<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The fellowship will fund a graduate student based in North Carolina to conduct applied research within the North Carolina portion of the APNEP management boundary.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are pleased to continue to offer this fellowship as an opportunity for graduate students to work on topics of importance to both programs,\u201d notes John Fear, Sea Grant deputy director.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe program not only provides specific research data and recommendations, but also draws attention to the watersheds shared by North Carolina and Virginia,\u201d adds Dean Carpenter of APNEP.<\/p>\n

Fellows must propose hypothesis-based research that addresses one or more of the following broad focus areas:<\/p>\n
