Mark your calendars and make your plans: North Carolina Sea Grant has released details on the 2019 North Carolina Coastal Conference<\/a>, Nov. 19 and 20 in downtown Wilmington.<\/p>\n

Go to ncseagrant.org<\/a> and click on the conference link<\/a> for registration, along with sponsorship opportunities. The conference site also has details on submitting abstracts for potential presentations and even a student poster competition.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are looking forward to variety of participants and topics related to our coastal ecosystems and economies,\u201d notes Susan White, North Carolina Sea Grant executive director. \u201cPartners around the state are helping residents respond to, recover from and anticipate urgent and long-term coastal challenges.\u201d<\/p>\n

The conference will be at the Hotel Ballast<\/a> on the Cape Fear River in downtown Wilmington.<\/p>\n
