Duties include:<\/p>\n The position requires a master’s degree or equivalent experience in biological sciences or related natural resource field; experience in securing external funding for marine aquaculture-related applied research projects; and experience in developing productive partnerships and collaborations among marine aquaculture producers, seafood dealers and processors and consumers. Practical experience supporting commercial marine aquaculture industry development and technology transfer to the industry is preferred.<\/p>\n North Carolina Sea Grant provides research, education and outreach opportunities relating to current issues affecting the North Carolina coast and its communities. An interinstitutional program of the University of North Carolina system<\/a>, the program optimizes the environmental, social and economic potential of the state, while maintaining long-term viability of coastal and marine resources, by funding high-quality research, extension and education programming and related communications efforts.<\/p>\n All applications must be submitted online.
