<\/a><\/p>\n For immediate release<\/strong><\/p>\n Registration for the 2022 North Carolina Coastal Conference<\/a> is now open. On November 7 and 8, the hybrid conference will take place online and in person at NC State University in Raleigh.\u00a0North Carolina Sea Grant hosts the event.<\/p>\n \u201cThis year’s Coastal Conference is a welcome opportunity to engage with partners invested in, and committed to, supporting the vibrancy of our state’s coastal communities, environments, and economies,\u201d says Susan White, executive director of North Carolina Sea Grant. \u201cI’m particularly excited to learn from students across a range of disciplines as they present their works’ impacts.”<\/p>\n The event will offer sessions on a range of current issues relevant to our coast and the watersheds that feed our estuaries and ocean. Topics will focus on research and outreach, across disciplines that include STEM fields, the arts, education, and the humanities.<\/p>\n “The engagement and energy arising from conference participants from academia \u2014 and our partners from government, non-profit, and local communities \u2014 create great optimism and opportunities for continued positive impacts across the coast,\u201d White adds.<\/p>\n The North Carolina Coastal Conference<\/a> also offers sponsorship opportunities at several different levels, some of which include free registration.<\/p>\n Learn how to register and\/or become a sponsor here<\/a>.<\/p>\n
