North Carolina Sea Grant has a new research funding opportunity to extend topics discussed at the program\u2019s 2014 Research Symposium: Investments and Opportunities<\/a> in April.<\/p>\n

The symposium highlighted excellence across the program\u2019s sponsored research and extension efforts. The event also facilitated stakeholder discussions to identify research, extension, applied science investment opportunities, and collaborative partnerships to effectively address North Carolina\u2019s coastal needs now and into the future. The outcomes and lessons learned from the symposium are now available in a summary report.<\/p>\n

To continue the momentum from this event, Sea Grant is offering competitive funding for research proposals focusing on four North Carolina topics:<\/p>\n
