Washington, D.C.<\/strong> \u2014 Environmental education and youth leadership organization\u00a0EarthEcho International (www.earthecho.org<\/a>) today announced the formation of EarthEcho\u2019s Learning, Education, and Advisory Panel (LEAP), created to enhance and evolve the organization\u2019s expanding offering of educational resources aligned to Next Generation Science Standards.\u00a0 Drawing on the experiences and insights of educators from across country, EarthEcho LEAP will also help to cultivate and support a vibrant and growing online community of teachers.\u00a0 EarthEcho International Chief Executive Officer Ann Korando made the announcement.<\/p>\n

\u201cEarthEcho International is committed to creating resources that reflect the needs and aspirations of today\u2019s educators and students,\u201d said Korando.\u00a0 \u201cEarthEcho LEAP members will play a pivotal role in helping us develop a new breed of standards-aligned educational tools that inspire the learning process and ignite the imagination.\u201d<\/p>\n

EarthEcho LEAP members bring diverse experiences, unique skills and vision to the organization\u2019s ongoing commitment to redefine science education for today\u2019s 21st century learners. The 15-member learning and advisory panel will develop and pilot new multi-platform educational resources, and work with the EarthEcho team to connect educators and students across classrooms, cities and school districts. \u00a0Panel members will also help to develop classroom content for the organization\u2019s flagship program EarthEcho Expeditions.<\/p>\n
