North Carolina Sea Grant is accepting applications for the 2015 National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Coastal Management Fellowship program for postgraduate students.<\/p>\n

The two-year fellowship provides professional, on-the-job education and training opportunities in coastal resource management and policy for postgraduate students. In 2015, fellows will be placed in agencies, similar to the N.C. Division of Coastal Management, in Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Northern Mariana Islands, Oregon and Puerto Rico.<\/p>\n

The fellowship starts in August 2015 and offers an annual salary of $34,000, along with health insurance, worker\u2019s compensation, relocation reimbursement and travel reimbursement.<\/p>\n

Students completing a master\u2019s, doctoral or professional degree in natural resource management or environmental-related studies between Jan. 1, 2014, and July 31, 2015, at an accredited college or university in North Carolina, are eligible for nomination by North Carolina Sea Grant. United States citizenship is not a requirement, but interest in state-level coastal issues is a must.<\/p>\n
