Contact Rosemary Johnson at 252-926-4474 or rjohnson@hydecountync.gov<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n North Carolina Sea Grant extension specialists Scott Baker<\/a> and Barry Nash<\/a> will be speaking at the North Carolina Catch Summit March 24 at the Ocracoke Community Center. Sea Grant is an event sponsor.<\/p>\n The summit, hosted this year by the Ocracoke Working Watermen\u2019s Association, is titled Grow Your Seafood Business, Grow Our Seafood. It begins with a dinner on March 23.<\/p>\n \u201cIt has been exciting to see the positive collaborations and changes in our local seafood industry that have emerged from the previous summits. I am looking forward to seeing what new developments will come from this year\u2019s meeting,\u201d says Jack Thigpen<\/a>, Sea Grant extension specialist.<\/p>\n Baker, Sea Grant fisheries specialist, will provide the latest data from the state\u2019s commercial fishing industry.<\/p>\n Nash, Sea Grant seafood technology and marketing specialist, will join a panel of speakers who will discuss innovative options that are developing new seafood products and marketing possibilities.<\/p>\n This free event is open to those who are involved or interested in North Carolina\u2019s seafood industry. However, registration is required.
