Contact: Posted Monday, April 18, 2016<\/em><\/p>\n North Carolina Sea Grant, in partnership with the Water Resources Research Institute of the University of North Carolina system, is offering competitive funding for graduate students to conduct research in four focus areas:<\/p>\n Proposals are due by 4 p.m., on Tuesday, May 31, 2016.<\/strong><\/p>\n The programs are seeking proposals for one-year, question-driven research projects, with budgets up to $10,000. Full-time graduate students in good academic standing who are attending an accredited college or university in North Carolina are invited to apply. The funding is expected to support up to three student proposals, pending availability of resources and quality of proposals.<\/p>\n Applicants must justify how the proposed work relates to the missions of both Sea Grant (ncseagrant.ncsu.edu\/about-us\/our-vision<\/a>) and WRRI (wrri.ncsu.edu\/mission<\/a>).<\/p>\n Full details on the proposal requirements are available online.
