Contact: Updated Feb. 28 with new deadline.<\/em><\/p>\n North Carolina Sea Grant is seeking abstracts for a student poster competition for North Carolina\u2019s Coastal Conference<\/a>, set for April 4 and 5 in Raleigh.<\/p>\n \u201cIt will be a wonderful opportunity for students to showcase their research and interact with diverse audiences,\u201d says John Fear, Sea Grant deputy director.<\/p>\n Poster topics must fall within one of the conference focus areas. Awards are as follows:<\/p>\n Graduate students, or upper-class undergraduate students actively engaged in honors research, enrolled in North Carolina universities or colleges may apply.<\/p>\n Entries will be prioritized based on relevance to the conference, representation from as many universities\/colleges as possible, and balance across conference focus areas.<\/p>\n Abstracts must be submitted by 5 p.m., Friday, March 17, 2017<\/strong>, using this application form<\/a>, following these instructions<\/a>.<\/p>\n For more information, contact Fear at 919-515-9104 or jmfear@ncsu.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n Limited travel support is available for students.
