Photo by John Joyner.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Five students won awards for presenting their research at <a href=\"https:\/\/ncseagrant.ncsu.edu\/nc-coastal-conference\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">North Carolina\u2019s Coastal Conference<\/a>, hosted by North Carolina Sea Grant in Raleigh.<\/p>\n<p>They were selected based on poster content and design, as well as how well they explained their research, and the implications and relevance of the work.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe had an excellent poster session.
