New Zone-Based Evacuation System Established for Coastal NC

Know Your Zone, North Carolina’s new system of coastal evacuation zones, launched earlier this month. This tiered evacuation system focuses on areas most vulnerable to impacts from hurricanes, tropical storms and other hazards.
