Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a skillet. Sauté onion and celery until tender. Add ½ cup bread crumbs, cream, cayenne, garlic powder, mustard, salt and egg. Mix well. Gently fold in crab meat, being careful not to break meat apart.
Divide mixture between 6 lightly greased ramekins. Combine melted butter and ¾ cup of bread crumbs and sprinkle over ramekins. Bake at 375°F for about 20 minutes, until lightly browned.
