Baked Grouper with Green Onion and Mushrooms


  • 1 pound grouper fillet
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • salt
  • freshly ground black pepper
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup thinly sliced green onion
  • ½ pound sliced small mushrooms
  • 2 tablespoons minced fresh dill (or 1 tablespoon dried)

Preheat the oven to 425° F.

Place fish in greased baking dish. Brush with melted butter. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

In small saucepan, melt 3 tablespoons butter. Add green onion and mushrooms and sauté lightly. Add dill and mix well. Spoon over fish. Bake until done, about 15 to 20 minutes.
