Grilled Tuna with Lime Butter
Recipe
- 4 tuna steaks, about 1-inch thick
- ¼ cup vegetable oil
- salt
- freshly ground black pepper
Prepare Lime Butter and set aside.
Preheat charcoal or gas grill to high.
Brush steaks with oil on both sides. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Carefully oil grill grate. Place steaks on grill and cook for about 2 to 3 minutes per side. If a well-done center is desired, grill a few minutes longer per side. Spread with Lime Butter.
Lime Butter
- ½ cup butter, softened
- 3 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- 3 teaspoons lime zest
In a small bowl, combine butter, juice and lime zest. Set aside for flavors to blend. Serve over cooked steaks.
