Air-Fried Oysters

Recipe

  • 1 pound raw, shucked oysters
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 ½ cups panko breadcrumbs
  • 4 cups salad with dressing of choice

Preheat air fryer to 380°F.

Add flour, kosher salt, and black pepper to a small bowl. Stir to combine.

Add egg to another small bowl.

Add panko breadcrumbs to another small bowl.

Dredge each oyster on both sides in flour, then egg, and finally panko breadcrumbs. Set aside.

Repeat until all oysters are completely coated.

Add coated oysters to the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook on one side for 3 to 4 minutes. Flip oysters and cook for another 3 to4 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 145°F.

Cook in batches until all are done.

Serve on top of a salad or as Oyster Burgers.
