Students Invited to Apply for Coastal Research Fellowship

The North Carolina Coastal Reserve and National Estuarine Research Reserve and North Carolina Sea Grant are seeking applications for a joint fellowship. Proposals are due by 5 p.m., Nov. 29, 2017. NC Sea Grant and APNEP Name 2018 Fellow

North Carolina Sea Grant and the Albemarle-Pamlico National Estuary Partnership have selected Mollie Yacano as the recipient of the programs’ 2018 joint fellowship. Yacano will examine how nitrogen is processed in sediments associated with the invasive genotype of Phragmites australis, also known as common reed.
