Applications Open for Sea to Stars Fellowship

North Carolina’s Sea Grant and Space Grant programs are currently accepting applications for Graduate Research Fellowships for the 2026-2027 academic year. Two fellowships of up to $10,000 may be awarded to students whose projects address a priority research need within the state’s nearshore environments, coastal areas, watersheds or human activities in these areas.

North Carolina Sea Grant and the N.C. Coastal Reserve and National Estuarine Research Reserve (Coastal Reserve) are accepting applications for the 2026 North Carolina Coastal Research Fellowship. The deadline is Monday, April 6, 2026 at 5 p.m. ET.
