North Carolina Sea Grant Seeks Coastal Research Proposals

North Carolina Sea Grant is now accepting preproposals for the 2024–2026 applied research grant cycle to address problems affecting coastal ecosystems, economies, and communities. The deadline for preproposals is January 13, 2023.

Applications Open for Joint NC Sea Grant/NC Space Grant Graduate Research Fellowship

North Carolina’s Space Grant and Sea Grant programs are currently accepting applications for Graduate Research Fellowships for the 2023-2024 academic year. Two fellowships of up to $10,000 may be awarded to students whose projects address a priority research need within the state’s nearshore environments, coastal areas, watersheds or human activities in these areas.
