Hyde County middle- and high-school students will learn about aquaculture technology, environmental science and related careers from local experts at this education day organized by North Carolina Sea Grant in conjunction with the North Carolina Science Festival.
The new North Carolina Space Grant/North Carolina Sea Grant Graduate Research Fellowship Program is accepting applications from graduate students across the state. The program will focus on nearshore environs and coastal watersheds.
Four community-based collaborations will start this spring thanks to a new partnership between North Carolina Sea Grant and the William R. Kenan Jr. Institute for Engineering, Technology and Science at NC State University.
