Fellowships and Student Opportunities

Our fellowships for graduate students and early-career professionals fuel practical solutions for issues critical to North Carolina’s coast. We support hands-on opportunities that train the next generation of coastal leaders, scientists, and policy experts.

NC Sea Grant’s programs address prominent coastal and marine issues across our state. Working alongside state agencies and federal partners such as NOAA, our fellows gain direct professional experience that strengthens coastal communities and advances sustainable ocean and estuarine management.
