AMS Honors Whitehead as Emerging Leader

The American Meteorological Society has selected Jessica Whitehead, North Carolina Sea Grant's coastal communities hazards adaptation specialist, as a member of its inaugural Early Career Leadership Academy. She is one of 34 scientists selected as diverse and competent emerging leaders in weather, water, and climate science.
