Kaitlin Tucker

Bio

Kaitlin Tucker is the coordinator for research and engagement for the North Carolina Water Resources Research Institute and NC Sea Grant. She coordinates funding opportunities, manages grants, and provides support for research competitions for NC Sea Grant.

She previously was the Coastal Watersheds Coordinator at the Partnership for the Delaware Estuary where her role focused on resilience and water quality issues across New Jersey and Delaware. She has experience working with a variety of collaborative networks and facilitating workshops on wetlands, nature-based solutions, monitoring, and other scientific topics.

In addition to her bachelor’s degree from NC State University, she has a master’s degree from the University of Delaware in Marine Studies. Her thesis research investigated carbon accumulation in Delaware tidal marshes.
