NC Sentinel Site Cooperative Selects 2017 Graduate Fellow

Carter Smith is the recipient of the 2017 joint graduate fellowship funded by North Carolina Sea Grant and the N.C. Sentinel Site Cooperative. UNC-CH Doctoral Graduate Begins Knauss Fellowship

Ian Kroll, who holds a doctoral degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s Institute of Marine Sciences, is the latest Knauss fellow from North Carolina. On Feb. 1, he began serving as a natural resource policy fellow at the Fish and Aquatic Conservation Branch within the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
