NCSG’s Research Symposium Registration Deadline: March 31

The North Carolina Sea Grant Research Symposium: Investments and Opportunities will be held on April 16, 2014 at NC State University’s McKimmon Center in Raleigh. If you haven’t yet registered for this free event, you have until March 31. To register, please visit http://www.ncseagrant.org/ncsgday2014 and follow the registration link. Your registration will help us with event planning.

A poster session will be held during lunch. North Carolina Sea Grant encourages students to submit posters that highlight work in one of the following focus areas: Healthy Coastal Ecosystems; Sustainable Coastal Development; Safe and Sustainable Seafood Supply; Hazard Resilience in Coastal Communities. Poster abstracts of 250 words or less are to be submitted in conjunction with the symposium registration. The poster abstracts deadline is March 31.

Sea Grant has a block of rooms set aside for the event. To get the state rate, hotel reservations should be made no later than March 31. A valid State of North Carolina ID is required at check-in.
