Deadlines are rapidly approaching for three of North Carolina Sea Grant’s fellowship opportunities for graduate students. Sea Grant funds research that addresses important issues facing our coastal region. Projects often provide initial data that spur additional funding from other agencies, such as the National Science Foundation.

“These fellowships are some of the best investments that we make with the funds we have available, and we’re proud to be able to provide these three opportunities for fellowships. We encourage all eligible students to apply,” says John Fear, deputy director of Sea Grant.
