The book focuses on selected plants, animals and habitats of coastal North Carolina. Readers will dive into the world of our coastal treasures and read about the margined sea star, the bottlenose dolphin and the red wolf, along with many other fantastic species. North Carolina’s Amazing Coast will be an ideal gift for anyone who lives near — or loves — the coast. The book is a great resource for teachers as well. Price: $16.95.

Mariner’s Menu: 30 Years of Fresh Seafood Ideas, is the perfect gift for any cook, cookbook collector or seafood enthusiast. The resource book gathers 30 years of seafood wisdom and contains more than 100 original recipes developed by the dedicated testers and tasters of the North Carolina State University Seafood Lab kitchen.
