NC Science Festival in Hyde County: Aquaculture and Seafood Industry Education Day

On Wednesday, April 13, Hyde County middle- and high-school students will learn about aquaculture technology, environmental science and related careers from local experts at this education day organized by North Carolina Sea Grant in conjunction with the North Carolina Science Festival.

When: Wednesday, April 13, 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

  • 8:30 – 9:30 a.m.  — Panel Presentations by Aquaculture and Seafood Industry Experts
  • 10 a.m. – Noon — Interactive Seafood Industry, Science, & Technology Table Displays
  • 1 – 2:30 p.m. — Field Trip to Mattamuskeet Seafood Company
