As a partner affiliate with NC Sea Grant this year, Marine CSI: Coastal Science Investigations (a for-profit business based in Wilmington) is so excited to be able to offer monthly workshops at various locations along our coast. The March 23rd workshop is fully immersive, located at UNC Wilmington's Center for Marine Science, one of the leading centers in Marine Science research. Participants will spend time delving into Marine CSI's Coastal Curriculum with a few activities and then heading out for a marsh walk and an activity or two from NC Sea Grant.

Participants will spend 6 days at Frying Pan Tower (weather pending) and will be immersed in marine science education and research. Each day, participants will collect and monitor real time data on basic chemical and physical ocean trends including but not limited to: barometric pressure, pH, sea surface and air temperatures, wind speed/direction, salinity, etc.…

Your costs will be travel to the marina, possible parking fees and overnight hotel stay if needed.
