North Carolina Sea Grant, in partnership with The Water Resources Research Institute (WRRI) of the University of North Carolina system, provides competitive funding for a special graduate student funding opportunity.
We also encourage undergraduate participation in proposed projects.
Each research project should align with the strategic plans of North Carolina Sea Grant and/or the NC Water Resources Research Institute.
